About Tocotrienols

Tocotrienol complex is a fractionated and concentrated extract of either palm oil or rice bran oil. Tocotrienols are naturally occurring lipid-soluble isomers of Vitamin E. There are 8 naturally occurring isomers of Vitamin E (4 tocopherols and 4 tocotrienols). Tocotrienols have 40-60 times higher antioxidant potency than alpha-tocopherol.

Tocotrienols differ from tocopherols in that they have an isoprenoid (polyunsaturated) instead of a phytyl (saturated) side chain. This unsaturated side chain(or tail) contains three double bonds, which enables tocotrienols to be distributed more efficiently in the lipophilic cell membrane bi-layer. This distribution facilitates tocotrienols antioxidant properties more efficiently against free radical attack.

TocoTab P30 is a high potency powdered extract of palm-based tocotrienols. Our proprietary powder technology allows the highest concentration of tocotrienol oil to be available in a dry powdered form. TocoTab is very flowable and will readily compress into tablet form without stickiness or oil extrusion.

Tocotrol L50P is non-GMO and is a concentrated extract of natural tocotrienols with a high level of d-delta tocotrienol, one of the most potent of the four tocotrienol isomers. Tocotrol L50P is designed for use in dietary supplements as well as personal care products.
